Question R Warwicks HomDuard.

Re a discussion a few weeks ago.Has anyone any more info. on the R.W. Home guard badge attributed to Morris Motors.with the extra letters in the scroll. I have just seen one on E Bay which also has GROVE MFG B'HAM. stamped on the slider. Did this unit exist and was the badge ever issued and worn. Any additional information woud be greatly appreciated.
Happy New Year to all members..George Davies.

George
i was shown a cap badge Royal War Regt with the letters "s s" hanging
from the middle of the scroll this was attributed to the Morris Minor HG
i was told the "s s" stood for Swallow sidecars one of the companys
early names
the gentleman told me the badge had been issued to and used by his
father during WW2

Thanks for info. Greatly appreciated. It proves that these badges were issued and worn.It makes the MM badge more of a mystery.
