Bad day in the office just come back to this for another laugh
OMG thats cheered me up right beer time! The sad thing is we all bemoan the fact that there are not many new young collectors coming through this is just the sort of C*** that could catch out the unwary so in reality not that funny. Personally I would be tempted to stand and do my laughing policeman impression (which is very good by the way) if I ever saw these on display at a fair, I guarantee they would be off the table before you could say THATFATSCOUSERISTAKINGTHEURINEOUTOFME |

Fantasy Badge Forum.
Good evening.
At the risk of creating a monster: perhaps our Member Mr Brydon, in again drawing to our attention the rubbish peddled by this vendor, has sown the seed of a wonderfully creative game for Members of this Forum. It is also based on the tendency of every political administration to remodel that great institution: the regimental system. The game is called "Fantasy Badge" and is simple to play. Players create their own fantasy badge. There are few, if any, rules. However, submissions should use items recorded in recognised publications, for example K&K, Churchill, Rawlings, Owen, Ryan, Cox, Westlake, Cossum, etc. Source references should be provided by players and metal and cloth items may be combined. Buttons and WBC devices may also be incorporated. All shoulder titles are fair game, but should be used without modification. Proposals including illustrations or sketches are awarded extra points. Generally, extra points might be awarded by members for style, aesthetic appreciation, improbability, and creative genius. In the event of any dispute Mr Brydon can exercise his professional discretion and arbitrate the matter. No prize is offered, excepting the accolade and admiration of Members at the creative improbability of submissions. Play nicely. Enjoy. S.T. Last edited by Silver Tourist; 19-07-12 at 09:40 PM.
