Unknown QVC Order of the Bath Badge Help Please
Probably a later copy but any info would be appreciated.
Think I may have solved it , think its something to do with the Middlesex Regt ( 57th) Last edited by haventaclue; 20-01-18 at 01:57 PM. Reason: new info. |

I thought the 57th followed the standard line pattern. Star, garter surrounding the number topped by crown. Later having the wreath replacing the star.
The only regiments that I can think of that could possible have some connection to this badge are: 13th L.G., 3rd, 23rd, 27th, 28th, 31st, 34th, 39th, 57th, 60th and 66th regiments of foot. Most of these don't have badges any where near the design of this one. Going by the design of the later L.G. badges, I would possible put the 13th Light Dragoons at the top the list. Wild theory, no evidence and sure to be ridiculed and a pure act of desperation. Be interesting if you do find out where it belongs. regards WF |

Going off memory which is not a good idea but i seem to recall this was worn by the predecessor of the Middlesex regiment as a shoulder belt plate.
