Default Gordon Highlanders Badge Bydand

Picked this up in a trade.
Figured it was an Officers.
Very well made.

WW1 Era?
Just looked to better nail down a time period.

Looks like there has been a few post on this jeweller.

Cheers!

It could well be ww1 era, but I cannot seem to determine the exact period as the firm continued to produce into the early 60's.

Thanx for the replies.

Ive looked further into similar badges.
It seems WW2 era badges have lugs and not such a heavy needle pin?

I know the firm continued to into the 1960's under a daughters name. Curious if the logo ect changed.

Stunning badge, thanks for showing it. Really nice with that fairly unusual maker / vendor stamp on the rear.
Cheers,
Alex

It's not marked sterling...I think it is.
Opinions?

Almost certain that i is sterling. They didn't necessarily have them hallmarked as that cost extra but I'm sure it is.
Cheers,
Alex
