WOMEN'S LEGION ORIGINAL PIN STYLE?
Hi Chap's. I wanted to see if anyone could confirm for me a concern that the pin style on this badge isn't really of the period they were issued; and that it is either a re-strike/fake of the modern era.
Thanks |

Hi Simon,
Here is mine for comparison. I think it is a genuine badge but stand to be corrected. Cheers, Tinto |

Hi Tinto, I would expect it though to have the pin style on yours with the horizontal pin. Let's see if anyone pitch's in another comment and see.
Thanks Simon. |

Evening Simon.
Don't know if the pictures I have attached will help. They are of sweetheart badges given to me by a good friend, whoes uncle collected them during the great war when he served with a Yorkshire unit. While not Legion badges, maybe the pin styles will be of interest. Possibly your badge was a different maker? |

Hello Simon,
I have one that looks like it's been salvaged from a bonfire with the same pin fixing. Regards Tony.
