Default sas badge - ok or yet another dud ?

I have learnt to be very wary of special forces badges and assume that they are fake unless proved otherwise. Luckily most of the fakes have the good grace to be so poorly made that even the most over-excited novice should recognize them as being dud.
Then you have the badges which are fairly well struck and show some signs of age. Can anyone tell me whether this one is original and , if so, when it was worn ?
Thanks
Mike

Im not keen on it, look at AR on dares. It looks badly done to me. The scroll isn't very good either, its not uniform.

A "very full" box of British repro badges!
That is very sad indeed, there was a time when it would have been quite hard to actually encounter any repro in South Africa, the country was awash with original stuff.

Hi Frank,
Sadly the Internet has made the spread of repro badges very easy. I guess it means that one has to be extra vigilant.
Regards
Mike

I agree, it has been responsible for a huge proliferation in complete and utter rubbish, very sad.
