Default 28 London Regiment WWI

Does anyone know what cap badge 28 Bn London Regt ORs wore in WWI (not economy issue)? Was it WM or brass, Artists or Artists Rifles?

Thank you in advance.

Chris

Hi Chris

as I understand it, Brass with "Artists Rifles" was the WW1 pattern

I am sure there will be someone along to confirm that shortly

Cheers, Tim

They wore both versions. The w/m Artists version was the one in use in WW2.
