Default E-Petition - Release of 1921 Census

Gents

For those involved in research, many may be interested to learn that there is currently an ongoing Petition to release the 1921 Census early. There is of course a 100 year rule.

The 1931 Census was destroyed in a fire, and there was no census in 1941, so this will be the last for another 37 years.

If you feel you can support it's release, please be kind enough to spend a moment signing. It might work, but 100,000 signatures are needed.

Cheers

Be aware that signing the petition is not enough, you will get an email to confirm this, be sure to do so or your vote isn't counted.

Bill.

Good work, Neil.
I'll get my wife to sign as I'm not a British citizen.
Cheers, Tinto

e-petitions are an easy, personal way for you to [try to] influence [the] government and Parliament in the UK. You can create an e-petition about anything that the government is responsible for and if it gets at least 100,000 signatures, it will be considered for debate in the House of Commons.

Best of luck
