Default ULSTER VOLUNTEER FORCE

Have these two attached badges of which I know little - they came together

can a knowledgable person advise where 1st SAR was from and what does the A in the reference number on the small badge refer to?

Is the 1st SAR badge real?

Hi,
The 1st SAR is the First South Antrim Regiment, The A on the lapel badge is a county Antrim prefix. They date back to around 1913. Yes they are both real. Hope this helps,
Eddie

Yes, real for sure, and very nice too. The larger badge is more scarce than the lapel badge.

PS. Hi Eddie - hope all's well?
