ULSTER VOLUNTEER FORCE
Have these two attached badges of which I know little - they came together
can a knowledgable person advise where 1st SAR was from and what does the A in the reference number on the small badge refer to? Is the 1st SAR badge real? |

Hi,
The 1st SAR is the First South Antrim Regiment, The A on the lapel badge is a county Antrim prefix. They date back to around 1913. Yes they are both real. Hope this helps, Eddie |

Yes, real for sure, and very nice too. The larger badge is more scarce than the lapel badge.
PS. Hi Eddie - hope all's well? |
