The rank slides shown above are fake and have been made for many years. The seller states that they are not modern copies. This is untrue, they are modern copies.

Genuine Grey's Scouts rank slides are very scarce and don't come onto the market very often.

Below is a comparison of a pair of genuine Grey's Scouts rank slides and a pair of fake ones similar to the ones being sold in the link above.
Some of the main differences are the pips on the genuine ones are more detailed, the word Grey's and Scouts are the same width, and the slides are tapered.
