Default This mornings purchases good or dud

Hi Guys
Picked up these 2 badges this morning, I think the RAF is a printed WW2 badge and not sure on the North Staffs, it has sweat holes on the back but looks very new with an almost gilt finish.
I hope you guys can help or correct me.

Thanks

Rob

The sweatholes look drilled, not a good sign.

Hi Thomas
Thanks for your post and confirming that I thought it was a dud. But what do you think about the RAF badge is it WW2 printed or a later. Would very much welcome anyones opinions.

You're welcome. You would not want my opinion on cloth badges, as they are out of my field of interest. I'm sure that if you post them in the RAF section you'll garner some useful replies.

Rgds,
Thomas.

The staffs is a repro. The back detail is poor from overused dies and the sider istypical of repros.

The RAF eagle looks fine from here - a pretty good printed example.
