Default Para badge with voided crown.

Hi all,
having looked through the previous threads ref the Parachute Regiment cap badge, I'm still not sure on this one....
Any feedback good or bad would be welcome.

It´s a good one. I have an identical one in brass, allegedly an early batch made in error so yours would the later run as specified.

Hi,

This pattern is also found in nickel plated brass and also with a thin silverwash coating which appears to look like grey paint. As yours appears to have copper lugs it should be made of nickel alloy i.e. white metal. If it was plated or silverwashed then the lugs would also be plated or silverwashed.
