Default Info for 2 WW1 Badges

Hello folks, I'm a newbie to the forum and looking for help in regards to info for 2 WW1 pugree Badges, as to where would I be able to obtain these (or any other info any of the members might have regarding these 2 badges)

Reason being I stumbled upon a news report and found out both my grandpa's(maternal/patrrnal) served in the Great War. (Came as a surprise to the families cuz both never talked about it I guess). One was in.14th KGO Sikhs and was wounded , and the other was a in Cavslry (lancer) and both were in action.

News report which led me to the discovery

I' ve located and acquired the shoulder insignia, but it would be nice to get the pugree badges too for the picture frame I'm putting together to honor them and their service. Thx in advance

Hi . You will have to keep an eye on auctions..Bosleys and others..and if you are lucky on eBay. QMS Militaria, Dead Spartan Militaria, Geoff Newman Militaria, Cultman Collectibles, Endici Militaria usually have a good selection of Indian army badges.
The 14th Sikh Pagri badge is very much sought after and doesn't come up often (lot of Sikh collectors in the UK want it too) and can be a little expensive..but if it's only 2 badges you want it won't set you back by too much, I think.
Good luck!

Hi, There were several Indian cavalry regiments deployed during WW1. The badge above is not to 2nd Lancers (GH), NAM collection is incorrectly labeled in many cases , check out Izzat- Historical Records of Indian Cavalry Regiments for accurate info and also images of the badges or Sowars and Sepoys in the Great War both books are the most informative books on Indian regiments, well researched written by an authority on the subject. Good luck with the badges .
