Default Lancashire Hussars

Hi All

Where have all the collars gone? It appears to be the same size as the cap badge without the scroll? Does anyone have examples of either Officer Collars or ORs?

Thank you Peter. Any chance of a close up front and back on the ORs collar please?

Oh! .... thanks any way Peter

Here are two "No full stop after the Y" badges. The fonts are different on each so two different dies. Is the top one good and the bottom one a fake?

The bottom badge is not a fake.

I swapped it and several others with Cultman a few years ago for a hallmark sliver Liverpool Pals.

One I still regret parting with.

If you are intent on building a library of genuine badges I would suggest referring back to Paul Spellman’s post in the other thread showing Keith Hopk’s examples.

Keith collected variants. Anyone looking for a reference can of genuine items need look no further.

The only badge not included I.Y. > Yeo was a very rare and previously unknown pattern that surfaced on eBay a number of years ago and was bought by a well known internet dealer. Neither Keith Hook or Dixon Pickup had seen this type previously.

... I am happy with this one. It looks right, voiding, loops and braise etc?

Loops spaced at 1 inch.

... received and cleaned the badge. Lightly polished high points, exactly 1 inch loops spacing. Voiding looks good to me.... but the more experienced might judge this one for me
