King's College School CCF
One wonders if the part reading KING'S has been chopped off these titles to appear as some very rare variation on King's regiment titles? Or am I being unduly suspicious?

Mike,
I think you could very well be right, Will be interesting to see if any scarce "Kings" titles come on the market in the future. P.B.

KCS
Or these titles were deliberately cut by the CCF prior to disposal, and have been salvaged from the rubbish bin.
I always thought it wasteful to see perfectly good uniform garments having the back slashed by stores staff just because they had been previously issued, so as to prevent their being salvaged and re-sold. Perhaps the same here? Stephen. |

Stephen,
The loose titles have been cut very deliberately in exactly the same place in each case, the title on he brassard has not been touched. Mikes possibility may not be right and I wonder if the "Kings" part of the titles might have been used in the school for some non cadet purpose, Whatever, it is interesting to speculate. Peter
