Hello all, can anyone tell me the significance of the letters and numbers (RD 876) on each side of the NZ on this badge? I have five of these and they all have the same markings.

Thanking you Phil.

Well done Phil.

I have often wondered what the numbers were there for myself but never thought to ask.
