Default 1st Aberdeenshire RV Badge

Hi

I would appreciate any advice on whether eBay item 170603143548, a 1st Aberdeenshire RV badge, is genuine or a restrike. Many thanks.

Cheers

John

Hi woronora,

I would hate to mis-inform you but in my opinion, if that was a genuine badge, I doubt if it would be on ebay with an SP of £6.99, I know there are always bargains to be had but ?????

My Aberdeen Militia badge cost me £90 ???

I could be wrong of course ??

Dave.

I am sure it is factually correct but what an amazing coincidence that the dealers father was a collector of militaria !!!!

Do you remember the advert with Martians, it was in fact voted the best advert ever, if I remember correctly.

"They peel them with their little knives...............then they smash them all to bits".

For Mash get Smash.

An advert for ready made/powdered mashed potato.

Look at the seller's name, a bit of a clue.

Not the real thing.

Regards
Brian

Many thanks to all of you who gave me their opinion on the authenticity of the badge. I appreciate your advice and will not consider bidding on this one.

Cheers
