Default Glider Pilot Wings

The last of my impulsive purchases..

Are these genuine and if so does anyone have a timeline on them. I cannot find a similar set on the Forum.

Thanks.
Andy

If they were sold as original why not return them...

Hi Keith,

Believe me I would love to. Unfortunately in the small print of their terms & conditions they state:-

"Medal & Militaria Items - Reproductions.
Due to the large number of reproductions currently being produced for Film, TV, and Re-enactment, it is increasingly difficult to ascertain the authenticity of some items. Therefore we can offer no guarantee to their authenticity and are sold as seen. We recommend that prospective bidders satisfy themselves of an items authenticity before bidding."

I learned three lessons today
a) read the small print of certain auction houses
b) stick to what I know and don't buy items on impulse
c) there are other collectors/dealers out there deliberately trying to deceive!

Thanks for your messages.
Andy

The "last" you imply there were several?

These are even too ugly for reenactment.

Oh no, them again. They portray themselves as specialist militaria auctioneers and connive in injecting this rubbish into the marketplace without fear or favour. You would think with their eye-watering commission rate they could afford someone to sift the dross. But who cares? We've got your money now, hah, hah.

Sorry, very sorry, you got burned.
