Default CT Sharpshooters - Fake or Fortune?

I bought a few badges at auction today which has all the attendant risks and amongst them was this. So far I have not been able to identify it but I am going through the reference books I have. As a short cut can anyone identify it for me?

Mindful that some of the badges are a little suspect does it appear genuine?

Thanks

Andrew

Default Transvaal cadets!

Many thanks for this information - I would not have guessed. Once I put the name into Google the badge appeared! This is a brilliant resource with such expertise. I will now try and find out a bit more about them.

Best regards

Andrew
