Rhodesian badge ID
I have acquired some early Rhodesian military badges and I'm struggling to identify some of them. I attach 4 of them, the colours on what I think maybe the 2nd RAR pagri diamond shaped badge are dark green to the right and black to the left (I assume the ?figure is a 2).
Any help on these 4 badges would be much appreciated. |

hello
The 'Diamond' shaped one is French, if that helps.

The black diamond may possibly be a pagri badge.. the metal device is likely a numeral but in which language unsure.

I don't think the Rhodesia patch is military, just a tourist souvenir.

Thanks I assume you mean the one with red borders? It’s odd as all the rest are definitely Rhodesian Police, Army or SAS!

Thanks, the colours fit the RAR but the ? Numeral is puzzling!

That would make sense as a plausible answer. I’ll keep looking!

None are Rhodesian Military. The one Rhodesia patch is not anything official that represents the country. Private issue/use only. (i.e. the "colors" for sport were the Lion & Tusk Gardant with the sport listed underneath).
