Default Printed RAF badges

I refer to the recently opened thread concerning printed Army rank & trade badges, which is doing very well, and I am taking up the suggestion that printed badges pertaining to the other Services should have a dedicated thread of their own.

I am posting two RAF printed badges, viz. Eagle shoulder badge R/H, and LAC arm badge.

Does anyone have any information as to period of use and on which uniform? I believe they are a wartime economy measure?

I have seen on a board of badges what looked like an RAF Bomb Disposal badge in printed form. Unfortunately was not able to confirm.

Default More printed patches

I have uploaded some more printed Patches. The Signaller patch may be RAF (same design as used in WWII by the RAF Regt) but was attributed to the RCAF when I acquired it. This is the first time I have attempted to reply to an active thread so I hope this works. Any thoughts from Members on the Signaller patch would be welcome.

Hello,

The signallers badge was granted to the RAF in A/207 of 9th March 1944.
Usually confined to members of the RAF Regiment.

regards
