RAF uniform photo
The airman in this photo is evidently an 'early-days' subject - but how early?
The cap badge pertains to the 1918 period. The eagle shoulder badge is cut-out pattern. The 2 Good Conduct chevrons appear very light in colour - or is this a trick of the light? Unsure if ribbons pertain to the Great War. Would the tunic be blue-grey? Comments welcome GTB |
