Hello Ron

I think they could be related items. This unit of the RWAFF would have been North Nigerian and in the region of Kumassi(now kumasi Ghana)during Gold Coast days.I have seen the Kumassi "design" on a swagger stick for the RWAFF and I think a pic of it is somewhere on the net.
I was wondering if these were celebration pieces...the ribbon could be related to Nigerian Independance when military facing colours were changed away from colonial colours to a deep green?

Cheers

Dave
