Default AWVS button

A WW2 button of the American Women's Voluntary Services. I would date it c. 1940 as it is the earlier metal version which was later supplanted by the economy version of wooden button treated to resemble metal. 22.5mm, one-piece, flat.

Thanks Didier. It seems that women's badges and buttons have a favoured position in that
they are scarce, uncommon and rare, Just like the women themselves, bless them!
