HELP with some WW2 colour patches
hi all
just purchased another batch of colour patches and have spent the last few hours trying to ID them. my eyes are spinning and im sure the following questions are simple but here goes. can anyone please confirm the following patches are what i have identified them as using Keiths numbering system. thanks bc |

First one, first row is 401A, last one, second row is 1292. Rest are as you have identified. 1276 is an early Commonwealth Clothing Factory supplied example, after 1942 this particular shade of dark green became a lighter mid green just to complicate things.

Glad to know there's still a few about bc. Prices went a bit stupid after the book came out and everything seemed to disappear.

Hi Mike, no, sold out of the 1000 copies in 2007. AAHU have offered to have it reprinted as a second edition if I add modern Army UCP but I can't be bothered with that, have moved on. Keith

The odd one pops up on Ebay and they are not cheap around $150 to $250 aust.
