Default ID required for AAC insignia.

Hi Fellas. Does anybody recognise the red & white shoulder strips ?
We had red/green ones at 4 Regt AAC in Detmold but have not seen these before. Obtained together with the other badges.

Was there a time - in the 1980s perhaps - when two Regts AAC were co-located in Detmold and the authorities (possibly the local Provost Coy) needed to be able to identify the members of the AAC by regiment? Mike

Correct Mike 4 & 9 Regts.

It appears that this was worn by A Sqn RAC JLR.

Del.
