It is listed as No 480 in Donal Sexton's "A guide to Canadian Shoulder Titles 1939-1945. I have an example identical to the one posted on the Forum - it came from a Belfast manufacturer's sample board in 1984. I have a note attached to mine - "A training battalion formed in the UK on 20 Jan 45". I believe that it is a rare title. Mike

Thanks for the info, hard to find any info on these titles and when they were used. I have a pair of them on a tunic and have been stumped on the origins of the titles and why/where they were used. Thank you for the information on them!

This is great information and thank you for posting the thread for me to read. Would these titles be rare or widely distributed ?

Nowadays...not that common and if you find one it would be,I suppose, in militaria shows in Canada.

Regarding the rarity of the title, it is not common but it is not all that rare. They show up from time to time.
