Default General Service type

While detecting this afternoon i dug a bent top part of a KC General Service (Royal Arms type) button and for the umpteenth time I wistfully pondered over what its parent unit could have been.
To me as a collector, the introduction of the GS button in lieu of regimental types has been nothing less than a bane, and the QVC ones even more so. A real shame!

Blasphemy,

I love general service buttons, so many variants to collect what could be better, and I still have the one I bought in Valleta bus depot market labelled as such to remind me.
