Research baffles brains.
Why can't ebay vendors do the basics? Or just list the lot as unidentified.
Making up a bunch of bs about a listing is silly.

So if I'm a Belgian airforce collector I'm estatic that it's been mislisted and the RAF collectors are all laughing... Ebay is not that bad of a place sometimes if you know what you are doing... good hunting

I don't see what the problem is? It was listed as a Belgian pilots cap badge was it not?
