I too saw this one too Alan.
I wasn't sure if the slider had a bulge in it where the Buttons mark is stamped - which would indicate a post manufacture addition. Difficult to tell with the one image. Also not sure if the slider has been glued on or not. Again the image is unclear. Interesting though I agree. Not the usual Buttons mark we see on anodised badges. Regards all |

And on a badge that usually found with a blank slider. I saw this a few days back and thought hhmmmm.
Just had another look,going by what i can see in the image. The letters arent straight and as Bess says thats not the normal Buttons mark we see. Last edited by Mike H; 17-12-17 at 06:43 PM. |

Would a genuine AA badge really appear fully die struck like that?

These full sized F&F badges were not authorised to be made in a/a but were faked with blank sliders. I strongly suspect it's a fake badge with a buttons slider added to it to give it credibility.
