The pattern to the front is a genuine one but it is a collar.

Originally worn by the Officers with a matching cap badge in bz with blades. Aroudn amalgamtion the regiment dropped the ORs cap badge, and pre-war collar badges, based on the XIII and wreath and used the officers pattern. Alan https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...ghlight=z-type |
