Default 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion economy badge

Gents,

Can any one tell me the current value of a genuine 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion economy dark brown beret badge?

Thanks

JB

Hi JB, Depends on a couple of factors. First, the condition of the badge? Mint, no cracks or discolouration of the material? Second, are the lugs in good condition? Third, is the plastic fastening pin present?
These are scarce badges, and one in good condition would easily start at $500.

Hi Bill

It is in perfect condition only the fastening pin is missing and it is the real stuff.

I have seen some went for over US$ 600 on Ebay about a year ago but have not followed any more.

Thanks
JB

Hi JB, As I said, a good starting point would be $500, but I would not be surprised to see one go to the $800 to $1000 ranage.

Last 10 sales I've tracked (all Canadian dollars), low of $170 (broken lugs), high of $703, average $540. Most recent sale, e.f. badge complete with pin, $558.

Just for your info, it's 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion....

Yes, nice looking badge save for a few minor knocks. Are you selling this badge?

Hi

It is a very nice genuine badge but I am considering indeed to move it on as a sale or trade. My focus is on ww2 British SAS, airborne and commando.

Like it was mentioned last year the one with the Plastic pine went for Over $700.US I participated in that auction.

The Problem is finding one with the pine.

$500. is the "starting price" Make no mistake about that Unless you fined one in a Garage sale and the person is clueless on the Item in question.
