Unknown shoulder title

Hi all!
Having recently retired I am now going back to my badge collection from 50 years or so ago. This particular shoulder title is a bit of a mystery, I can't find anything on the web which helps identify it. Can anyone help? The letters are B&DN&AVA. It is brass with two brass lugs to the rear.
