Any help on an ID, please?
Hi All,
Trying to positively Id the attached badge for a friend before they buy it. Any help appreciated, Thanks, Phil

This site shows a similar design for cavalry collar badges, which do come in pairs, with the various regiments distinguished by coloured backings to the badge. http://kokosar.com/NLVb.html
A single shoulder title sounds a bit unusual, but then this looks a bit small to be a cap badge, IMO, so you're probably right, Fougasse. |

It is the shoulder badge, from the time they were still wearing British type uniforms post WW2.
Later they went over to more American type uniforms and wore badges on their lapels. The beret badges were larger., with what I was told is a "W", for Wilhelmina. When I was collecting these I managed to find three different colours of piping, which denoted which regiment of Hussars wore them.

Correct, the collar badges do come in facing pairs.
