Sorry, but you will have to ignore those dates for Jennens, they are totally wrong due to a punctuation error in the original source book - 'Shoulder Belt Plates and Buttons' by Parkyn - which has often been repeated as here.
The correct dates are:- Charles Jennens & Co 1800-1832; Jennens & Co 1833-1912; Jenenns & Co Ltd 1912-1924. Roger |
