Default Canadian Parachute Corps Badge Review

Spotted on a gun forum for sale. I’ll leave it at that.

Looks good to me, the color is off but its the picture. No cut to the chute above the riser which is a tell tale of a recent copy that is going around. The dimples behind the letters looks good and behind the risers under the chute. The scroll looks good with nice raised letters.
How much are they asking if you don't mind.

Mike

The seller probably thinks he has a good one, which might explain the price. Oh well, live and learn.

Hi Rob,

His comments are interesting.

Although I can't comment on the badge specifically, his comments put me in mind of some advice I was given by a wonderful teacher and mentor I was fortunate enough to train with (sadly no longer with us).

He said..."Just because someone has done something for a long time, does not mean they have done it right for a long time"...!

Words I have always tried to embrace.

Cheerio,

Roy

Rob,

Do you think you can ask him for a more clear picture of the front and an angled shot of the lugs?....

Cheers

it would be in the interest of other members for the naysayers to provide a detailed explanation of why they believe the badge in question is a bummer. it reminds me of the time long ago of the pontifications of people coming out with sweeping statements like " that's duff, fake etc ". when asked to elaborate on their reasoning they coughed, shuffled their feet, looked skywards, passed wind and ambled off with no reply.
