Default Arnhem German Propaganda leaflet?

I recently brought this on eBay and the chap was selling it as an air dropped leaflet to the Germans during the battle for Arnhem. From all accounts it was to boost the Germans morale and explain how they had the Brits on the run ...

My question is this, has anyone else seen one of these before? Apparently it was found in an MG34 ammunition box.

Hi,

These propaganda leaflets were dropped by the allies, to demoralize the german troops. They were made to look like they were issued by the wehrmacht.

regards,

Albert

Thanks for your help chaps It makes perfect sense now, I mean the Germans wouldn't have put a photo of German officers surrendering in their leaflets haha.

Another quick questions, I paid 25 pounds in the end - do you believe I paid under or over? Is it a rare item?

Thanks

Hi,

These leaflets are not very scarce, but this one is due to the date and the content interesting.

but the chance that this one was dropped near arnhem are very slim.......

regards,

Albert.
