Very large bullion officer's pip

Can anyone please tell my who would have worn such a large bullion pip and when? it may be offered for sale once I know exactly what it is.

Wow, many thanks, I have just googled it and it would appear to be a fairly scarce item.

These very large rank badges can be found on shabraques which are military horse saddle cloths worn under the saddle. They can be embroidered with the regiments badge or officers rank.
