Default Collar Badge ID..?

Hi Gents,

See cabinet photograph attached, along with close up of the collar badges.

Any thoughts on these - which unit etc?

Cheerio,

Roy

King's (Liverpool) Regt bandsman before the regiment returned to its Hanoverian horse collar badge. As well as badge, note 'Royal' facings.

You often wonder ( at least I do ) when you see pictures like this if you might have the same man in another picture.

A couple of pictures of KLR bands attached ( but I cannot see anyone like our man ) together with a portrait of another bandsman at a later date wearing the white horse collars mentioned by Toby.

There are similarities to the men in the photos of individuals but mainly center parting of hair and mustache. Could it be the same man? Probably not.

P.B.

Hi Gents,

Many thanks for all your input - King's Liverpool bandsman it seems to be then.

Love it when these mysteries get solved.

Cheers,

Roy
