Default British East Africa, lion's claw badge

I was very pleased to be able to add this British East African Local Forces officer's pagri badge to my collection. It is an unmarked silver badge which incorporates a lion's claw. It is the most "african'of badges and speaks of British colonial times when silver was cheap and lions were plentiful. I'm not sure how many of these badges were produced or who made them and would be very interested to learn some more.
Many thanks
Mike

That is a lovely badge and quite unusual too. If you ever want to move it on, please let me know.
