I agree with magpie that Tim's badge is not cast, but corroded. This is also visible on the slider.

Albert,

I am leaning this way as well, as I've never seen a cast this thin and one that bends without cracking.

I'll wait for anymore comments but I think we have the answer, just wanted to ask in case I'm not aware of something on these.

Any concerns on the slider style, with the more square tip?
