Default MAJOR - GENERAL EX AIDE DE CAMP TO THE KING

Hi Folks I picked these up to day a rare facing pair of major general's ex aide de camp to the king tropical shoulder slides these belonged to a Major General SIR GORDON JOLLY

If following the cap badge I'd say to the rear. Perhaps Voltigeur can dig up an IWM photo showing them being worn?

On shoulder boards, hilts to the rear, on front slide only, to the left as is cap badge.

Nice, but such a shame the grouping was split up.
I've got a few bits of his empemera, ID card and some lovely photos that appeared on ebay.

I thought they looked Indian Army; indeed. Director of Indian Medical Service. KCIE KHP.
