Default 48th Highlanders TRH badge

Hi all,

I got this badge today and was looking for opinions. I don't know much about this version, dates etc, so any info would be appreciated.

Looks to be recent as it's chromed...or has been chromed.

Thanks, Bill

Default Grind marks

The grind marks on the reverse of the TRH are consistant with Bondy reproductions. It have the 48th YTC Bondy badge and is identical to this.

Thanks for the reply, I wasn't sure of it. It wasn't too expensive so will keep it as a space filler until I can get a genuine one.

regards, Bill

I have an original example of this badge. It looks much different than yours. They were used post wwii by the Toronto Rotary Highlanders.

The badge is not very rare or valuable, boggles the mind why someone would reproduce it.
