I've just come across my grandmother's MTC badges and manual of Rules and Regulations, c1942. I see that they had to pay a subscription of 10/6d annually!
Anyway, after all the bits about stockings and make-up, there is a useful section on badges which I copy here, together with my gm's workshop badge. I do also have a collar badge and a certificate of service but I see from another bit of paper that she was supposed to hand back her blue membership card and badges and buttons upon leaving the service.
