Default Canadian Guardsman

Hi

I am attempting to assist, through the Museum Board to which I belong, a Dutchman who is trying to identify a Canadian in Groningen in April 1945- July 1946 timeframe.

Can someone else provide me with an independant opinion as to which Unit this soldier belongs to?

Thank you.

regards
Darrell

Hi

Thanks fellas, I appreciate it.

I am of the same opinion so I can report back that he is NOT South Saskatchewan Regiment as the Dutchman believes .

Gugga Huggas, it is. Now to track their locs on certain date/time groups.

regards
Darrell

Wow. The SSR patch is barrel shaped, and this certainly doesn't look like a barrel shape....

Hi Bill

Yes, I thought it very strange that he thought this soldier was SSR.

No matter, I'm merely reporting back on that and other answers in his request to us.

Thank you.

regards
Darrell
