Collection: Lincolnshire badges / 10th foot

Hello All,

I have been offered a collection of Lincolnshire badges from an old collector who had them framed. I’ve managed to get them out of the frame for clear pictures front and back of some of the rarer pieces. I would appreciate your opinion on the badges authenticity, so I have an idea of what to do next. Some of the badges have been cleaned, and possibly re-felted. Apologies for blue tac residue, not my doing!

I am of the opinion that they are 90% modern fakes.

Wouldnt touch them with a barge pole.

These are bad copies at that and serve as a great reference of what to look out for. A smiling face Sphinx is never good. Cheers Dean
