Silver officers SDF, hallmarked?

A nice officers cap badge for the Sudan Defense Force (Renfrew and Cranston 1286). It appears to have a mark at the rear and a hallmark on the clasp; can anyone make them out?
My camera refused to focus properly.

Hi,
These are Egyptian silver hallmarks:

1. 800 proof mark
2. Cat mark used 1916 - 1946
3. Date mark not very legible but appears to be 1942-1943
