Hi guys

Could anyone tell me whether these collars are standard OSD finish?

Cheers

Question OSD bronze

I'm not sure that there is or was a standard OSD finish, I have original badges in a variety of colours ranging from very dark brown to a lighter almost tan colour.

Maybe other members may have the answer,

Rob

Hi Rob

Maybe battalion and/or makers variations?

Cheers

Colin

I'd be more concerned about the state of the left turret on both badges, unusually poor for OSD's

Hi Keith

You're thinking restrike/fake? Do you have an example of a "good one" for comparison?

Cheers for the inputs guys!

I'm hoping maybe they're rejects (due to die-fault, maybe?) Late Friday issue?? Apart from the Fawlty Tower they look and feel good.
I know, clinging to straws here...

As they are private purchase would there be a price option when an officer was fitted out at the military tailor's?

Best quality at 2 guineas a pair Sir, Suits you Sir, or there's these at 3 bob a dozen.
