Default QUERY LRDG VEHICLE SKULL & CROSS BONES PENDENT

I got this from a Rhodesian source and was wondering if its LRDG related as they used the Skull & cross bones emblem as seen in several photos. The pendent is wartime made and has a pink skull/cross bones.Could this be in line with the pinkish hue they used on their vehicles?Or am I going to far here?Any feed back or thoughts on it would be appreciated. Its double sided.

Any chance it's a variation of the German mine warning pennant, perhaps locally made? Though it seems a little too detailed for one of those - they wouldn't need those teeth.

It would be nice to imagine such wear/use - the LRDG? picture looks like they are holding something similar to a submarine ensign. A shame we could not see more detail but very interesting
