Default Palestine Gendarmerie and related badges

Help needed please! I'd like to collate a decent set of images of badges, uniforms and other insignia relating to the Palestine Gendarmeries, the Jewish Settlements Police and the Trans Jordan Frontier Force - but I am primarily interested in the British Section of the Palestine Gendarmerie.

I'd like to be able to use them as a reference point on my web forum here - I am cautious as regards copyright issues so will fully credit anyone if they so wish.

Can anyone help with supplying any good quality images please?

Absolutely terrific site with some super photos and information. On the point of copyright though, I believe that you are right to ask permission first as it is only courtesy when using the fruits of other peoples labour. It is just a shame that others don’t have the same manners, and to cite one of the worst thieves of others intellectually property “Prinset” who seem to think that the electronic highway is open territory to steal whatever they can – without even so much as a by your leave.

Great site and very informative. I hope the members here can help with some more info.

Regards,

Zob.

Many thanks Zob and Eddie. It's always best to give a credit where possible - takes the sting out of any perceived misuse. I look forward to your inputs Eddie as well.

Thanks again Tinto and Phil. I wonder if those buttons are from a mess jacket.

Anyone else have any items of Palestine Gendarmerie (as opposed to Palestine Police) that they can share?

Hi Peter,

The world is really small! I have just been helping a lady with some info on her grandfather who was in the Palestine Gendarmerie!

She has sent me a photo of his badge and a scan of his passport with the relevant entries.

Please let me know if you would like one, both or none...

Hi Peter,

With pleasure! PM me your email address and I can forward to you! I've also been promised a photo of this chap and his two brothers in PG uniform. Not got it yet but am hoping to get it soon.
